Divine Revelation

Morning....Damn, that's one hell of a sleep I was in. It felt like I was sleeping on a cloud of sheeps *or something fluffy and soft..like a pillow*. But that's not what I wanted to talk about, it's just the intro though. But instead, I want to talk about this one particular human characteristic. It's what we call as PRIDE. In Christianity belief, PRIDE is one of the seven deadly sins. And it was the worse of all sins. It's the same in Islam. Being too Prideful over something meaningless could spell you trouble. But it's ironic. PRIDE being the worse sin of all ends up being the easiest thing for any human being to feel. Parents feel proud when their children finally succeed in their lives. A man feels proud for his strength, his looks, and his ability to gain any girl he wants. A women feels proud of her beauty, her ability to make any men fall for her. Then a soldier is proud of himself, for being able to serve his country till the day he dies. These are all the examples of PRIDE that usually shows up in our society. But here's the thing, is it really wrong when your parents feel proud for whatever success you achieve? Is it wrong for a soldier to feel proud of his own servitude? Is it wrong for your parents to feel proud after nurturing you your whole life? The answer is, NO. They have that bragging rights. They have the right to feel proud, to feel that PRIDE without being sinful. Because they work their ass out every day and night for our freaking sake and for the country...SO, that leaves us with one question. Do man and women have the right to feel proud over themselves for looking good, for their ability to flirt with each other, and the fact that they have girl friends or boy friends? Of course, NO! They don't have that right. Out of all PRIDE, having a SELF-PRIDE is the worse! I mean, seriously. Why would you feel proud that you can hook up with many girls at the same time? Why the buck would feel proud that you manage to make guys to swoon over you? That's just one buck up statement! So, what I'm trying to say here is, it okay for us to feel PRIDE. But what matters most is the reason for that PRIDE to exist within us. If the reason is meaningless, you'll just book yourself a one way ticket to HELL.
*A shocking revelation that even animes are scared of*
